March's Mocktail: The Spring Sprite

Inspired by: Emily Wilde's Encyclopaedia of Faeries by Heather Fawcett
Vibe: Fresh, Floral, Enchanting

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup chilled green tea (jasmine or chamomile works beautifully)

  • 1/2 cup elderflower cordial

  • 1/4 cup fresh cucumber juice

  • 1 tablespoon lime juice

  • 1 teaspoon honey (optional, for a touch of sweetness)

  • Sparkling water (for a bit of fizz)

  • Garnish: Fresh lavender sprig, thin lemon twist

Instructions:

  1. Brew & Chill: Brew a cup of green tea and let it cool completely. Jasmine or chamomile adds a delicate floral note.

  2. Mix It Up: In a shaker, combine the green tea, elderflower cordial, cucumber juice, lime juice, and honey. Fill with ice and shake well.

  3. Serve: Strain into a glass filled with ice. Top with sparkling water to add a light, effervescent touch.

  4. Garnish: Add a sprig of fresh lavender and a twist of lemon for a bright, aromatic finish.

  5. Enjoy: Sip slowly while getting lost in the fae world of Emily Wilde's Encyclopaedia of Faeries.

Pro Tip: Serve in a vintage glass with a gold rim for an extra touch of whimsy. Pair with fresh flowers or a light candle to set the mood.
